Hey there – and welcome to FindTheBin 👋
This website began as a personal journey during my college years. Like many students, I had to make every dollar count. With a tight budget and big needs, I started exploring ways to save money without compromising on essentials.
That’s when I discovered bin stores — local spots where you could find everything from electronics to home goods, often at jaw-droppingly low prices.
The First Find That Sparked It All
I walked into a small liquidation store near my campus and realized I had unlocked a hidden world of deals.
The more I explored, the more fascinated I became. Bin stores were like treasure hunts — new inventory every week, unpredictable prices (like $6 Mondays or $1 Fridays), and the thrill of not knowing what you might find.
Why I Built This Site
As I kept visiting these stores, I realized one big problem: they were really hard to find.
Many had no websites. Some only posted updates on Facebook. Google Maps was hit-or-miss — sometimes showing completely unrelated businesses. And even if you found one, there was no way to know if it was still open, what the pricing schedule was, or if it was worth the trip.
So, I started making my own list — just for personal use. But over time, that small list turned into a full directory. And that’s how FindTheBin.com was born.
What You’ll Find Here
✅ A hand-reviewed list of 500+ bin and liquidation stores
🧱 Organized by state, so you can quickly find stores near you
💬 Pricing info and store hours (when available)
🔗 Links to social media — especially important, since many stores only update on Facebook
This site is now a community resource for anyone who loves saving money, finding unexpected gems, or flipping bin finds for profit.
Whether you’re a seasoned reseller or just want to save on household goods, I built this site to help you skip the guesswork and get straight to the deals.
Thanks for being here — and happy bin hunting!
